R exp-1610U-RP expansion cabinet is designed to expand the storage space on a QNAP NAS by connecting multiple expansion cabinet via high-speed mini-SAS cables (6 Gb / s). It is a flexible and affordable solution for organizations so that they can handle applications with intensive data increase (eg archiving, storage of high-resolution media and video surveillance) without major direct investment.

Simply connect a REXP-1610U-RP to a compatible QNAP NAS and launch it. NAS identifies the REXP-1610U-RP hard disks as newly installed local disks. You can seamlessly expand and manage NAS capabilities using the powerful QTS Storage and Snapshot Handler.
