ATEN CS1914 on 4-porttinen KVMP-kytkin, joka tukee USB 3.1:tä ja  DisplayPortia. Se on työpöytämallinen ja tarjoaa innovatiivista tekniikkaa, joka vastaa kasvavan kuvanlaadun ja suurentuneiden tiedonsiirtonopeusten asettamiin vaatimuksiin. CS1914 tarjoaa mahdollisuuden Ultra HD -resoluutioon (3840 x 2160) 30 Hz:n taajuudella sekä SuperSpeed USB 3.1 Gen 1 -hubin, jonka tiedonsiirtonopeus on jopa 5 Gbps.

CS1914:n avulla voi hallita yhdellä hiirellä ja näppäimistöllä neljää tietokonetta, joissa on DisplayPort-liitäntä. Kytkin tekee työnteosta helppoa. Tietokoneiden välillä voi vaihtaa joko hiiren vierityspyörällä, näppäimistön pikanäppäimillä tai etupaneelin painikkeilla.

Kytkimen eri osat toimivat toisistaan riippumatta. Sen voi asettaa niin, että näppäimistö, hiiri ja näyttö kohdistuvat eri tietokoneelle kuin USB-laitteet. Tämän ansiosta ei tarvitse hankkia erillistä USB-hubia, tulostinpalvelinta, modeemia tai jakajaa.

Näiden ominaisuuksien ansiosta CS1914 täyttää kaikki vaatimukset, mitä tulee videon jälkikäsittelyn, CAD-suunnittelun ja muihin sovelluksiin, joihin liittyy hyvä kuvanlaatu ja suurten tiedostojen siirtäminen. Kytkimellä on mahdollista siirtää HD-laatuista ääntä DisplayPort-liitännän kautta.

ATEN’s unique independent switching feature allows the KVM control to focus on one computer while the USB peripheral focus is on another computer. This eliminates the need to purchase a separate USB hub or stand-alone peripheral sharer – such as a printer server, modem or splitter.
