This EDID Emulator by Delock emulates a monitor so that the signal source does not switch off the signal or change the resolution, even without a connected monitor. The adapter contains a standard set of EDID/DDC data, but it can also read and save the data of a connected monitor. Extra features The number of DP lanes for data transmission (1, 2 or 4) can be selected depending on the desired resolution. The HPD (Hot Plug Detect) button can be used to switch the connection to the connected monitor on and off in the same way as hot plugging.
